"We were there then, and we are here now."
Since 1990, MANNA has been there for our neighbors living with HIV. June 5th is HIV Long-Term Survivors Awareness Day. In honor of the day, consider a gift to MANNA to support our ongoing work with those affected by HIV.
HIV Long-Term Survivors Day is on June 5th in honor of June 5, 1981, date of the first published cases of what became known as HIV/AIDS. The day celebrates people who survive and thrive despite their diagnosis.
MANNA's origins date back to the height of the HIV/AIDS epidemic when we provided meals to Philadelphians battling the virus. Our mission expanded in 2006 to make medically tailored meals for people living with other disease states, but we will never forget our roots.
